Here is a Bruinsball.com exclusive interview with Georgian Wide Receiver,
Juwan Dickey. Dickey is teammates with UCLA commits
Kenny Orjioke and
Eddie Printz.
What is you’re offseason like right now? Are you playing another sport or concentrating on football training? Juwan Dickey: I’m still in basketball right now. We’re about to go to playoffs.
What position do you play in basketball? Juwan Dickey: Small forward.
How does what you are doing on the basketball court translate to the football field? Juwan Dickey: In basketball, you do a lot of running so it keeps me conditioned. That helps when I’m running routes on the football field.
What are the main schools you are looking at right now? Juwan Dickey: UCLA, Oklahoma State, Alabama, and South Florida.
Which of those schools have offered so far? Juwan Dickey: UCLA, Oklahoma State, South Florida, and Southern Miss.
You mentioned UCLA first. Would you say that right now UCLA is your leader? Juwan Dickey: Yeah. UCLA, and then I’d say Oklahoma State.
What do you like about UCLA and who is recruiting you from UCLA? Juwan Dickey: Coach Adrian Klemm is recruiting me. I just like the weather. I’ve never been out there before, but I’d like to see the weather.
Are UCLA commits Eddie Printz and Kenny Orjioke trying to recruit you to UCLA? Juwan Dickey: Oh yeah, definitely. They always talk to me about that, saying the weather out there is beautiful and everything.
When do you think you will make you’re college decision? Juwan Dickey: I have no idea yet. Probably on Signing Day.
