Last night, 3-star fullback, Christian Powell, committed to UCLA. Powell was a huge commitment for the Bruins because he will essentially be the only fullback on the UCLA roster. With the Pistol formation now merely a nightmare of the past, look for Powell to compete for meaningful minutes early in his career.
This morning, 3-star running back/athlete, Fabian Moreau, also committed to Jim Mora's staff. This running back is speedster and can make sharp cuts on a dime. He is the exact type of running back Noel Mazzone likes to use in his offense. It is extremely impressive that Mora's staff was able to land Fabian Moreau, because Moreau lives all the way across the country, in Florida.
As we speak, the Bruins are hosting a plethora of current commits and recruits on official visits, and it would not be at all surprising if some of these recruits committed to play their football at UCLA in the very near future. I'm hearing Nate Iese could be close to making his pledge to the Bruins. Stay tuned...
