Some of our sources very close to the situation have notified
BruinsBall.com that as of now,
Tony Parker is planning to commit to UCLA. We have also heard that an announcement will come fairly soon.
With Muhammad, Anderson, and Adams already on board, Parker's commitment will solidify UCLA's monster class, one that fans have been dreaming about for a while now.
Muhammad, Anderson, and Parker will be playing in the Jordan Brand Classic tonight on ESPN at 4 PM PT, so make sure to tune in and watch them.
Parker will make his announcement on April 19th, during a ceremony at his high school.
UPDATE: While we are still hearing that Tony Parker will most likely sign with UCLA, there has been a strong, late push by Georgia. Parker's family loves the idea of Tony staying close to home, but in the end, the opportunity to be re-united with his former AAU Coach, Korey McCray, as well as to team up with his close friends, Shabazz Muhammad, Kyle Anderson, and Jordan Adams, might be too great to pass up.
There is also a rumor that Parker's high school coach, Sharman White, might be getting an assistant coaching job at Georgia. This would really complicate things. However, it appears that this rumor may be nothing to worry about, because as of now, Georgia has no assistant coaching spots open.
Parker has also changed his announcement date to Monday, April 23. He will be announcing at his high school, Miller Grover, in Atlanta, Georgia.
