While talking to a VERY knowledgeable source about the upcoming commitments at the Army All-American Game on Saturday, I was told that the minds of some possible UCLA commitments have been swayed.
While they may have been leaning towards committing to UCLA recently, they have been convinced otherwise (probably by other schools' commitments playing in the game). This is due directly to the lack of relationships these recruits have with the new UCLA coaching staff. While these recruits may like the new coaching staff, they have established relationships with other staffs over the course of the year.
Now, if things could change against UCLA's favor that quickly, then maybe they can be pushed back in UCLA's favor just as quickly. However, expect the worst and hope for a surprise. But at this time, it does not look like UCLA will get commitments from any of the following Bruin prospects announcing at the game:
Kevon Seymour 4* CB
Jordan Payton 4* WR
Shaq Thompson 5* S
Eliis McCarthy 5* DT (may or may not announce... it will definitely be in UCLA's favor if he does not announce as he has been hearing "go to Cal" all week from other Cal leans/commits)
However, we should all tune in to watch current UCLA pledge, Ishmael Adams, hold down the cornerback spot for the West.
