This is one sharp kid! Very mature for his age. Coach Howland recruited this kid for almost 4 years and it paid off in a big way. Next season will be fun to watch.
What is everyone hearing about Drew? We need a point guard. I know Anderson can play the point but we really need ball handlers. It will be tough for a freshman to come in and run the show for the Bruins. Drew at least has some experience.
One great thing is the fact that now we have several guys who can create their own shot. Shabazz, Powell and Anderson can all create their own shots.
I wonder how all those people are feeling now who called for Coach Howland to be fired??? Granted we have had a couple of down seasons. However Coach Howland is a very good coach. He is a bit tough to like but he knows coaching and has proven that.
His personality issues will be forgotten after next season. I am really happy to hear and see that Coach Howland has opened up a bit more and is actually not to bad of a guy to talk to now.
I also read that season tickets are going fast. It will be very cool to see these kid open the new Pauley Pavilion! Hopefully they will be sold out for every game. The fans and alums of UCLA need to step up and support this team. '74
