Does switching to a prep school help you out recruiting-wise as well? Austin pope: Yes, easily. Ever since I made the move, coaches have been calling me left and right.
What is your dream school? Or are there a few schools at the top of your list? Austin Pope: My dream school is Kentucky and my top 3 is UCLA, Kansas, and Texas. I also like Oregon and USC.

W
hat are the strengths to your game? Austin Pope: Distributing and I’m a long, athletic defender. I have great court vision and I’m a good finisher.
What are the areas you need to work on? Austin Pope: Being more consistent with my jumper and working on my strength.
Have you talked to any of the UCLA coaches? Austin pope: Yes. New Years Day I talked to Coach Matthews, and he told me to stay focused and keep working hard and you can be a Bruin.
